He couldn't take it anymore. He shut the door closed quietly behind him; he knew that they wouldn't notice too soon. Just late enough that he could go there and be back, if he could force himself to do so. He shuffled through the white snow in his backyard. It still fell from the sky. He took a breath and watched as the foggy picture left his mouth and disappeared into the air above. He took a few steps, the snow leaked into his warm shoes. He shivered but ignored it. He had to go, had to.
As he put his hands on the cold fence he looked out over the quiet streets, car lights fleeting by every now and then. He pushed his body up, arms straight, and with his strength he lifted himself quickly and gently over the fence. He landed in the snow and shivered again. He'd never admit it, he never did, but he was cold. He put his hands in his pockets and flipped his dark brown hair so it wasn't in his eyes. He walked down the little hill and as time passed he pressed a button to cross the street, then up a street, not turning once, he kept walking.
He had the strange erg to see her. He wanted to hold her in his arms and give her the warmth she needed. But, he wanted to slowly, patiently walk to her house. Surprise her maybe? No, she was probably already suspicious to the fact that he had logged off his computer so quietly. She was probably worried. He felt around in his pockets. No phone. He sighed, he didn't akin to the fact that she was worried. Now he was on edge, his pace quickened.
He wanted to see her beautiful unique brown eyes. He wanted to hear her cute little giggle and watch her smile and look away… with that secret pink blush she had. He looked down, his hair slightly stirred in front of his own brown eyes. He adjusted his hands in his pockets again. They were cold, another sigh floated away.

She wouldn't let him go out on his own. She knew what he was up to. He's stupid, no… silly… maybe… crazy. She put on a scarf, then a hat. His weird sudden disaperence from the computer startled her. They were talking one moment, the next he disappeared. She was worried. No, beyond worried. What was he thinking? She could already guess he was in just a sweat shirt, his jeans, and his shoes. His darker skin would turn purple before she could get to him. She looked back behind her. Quiet filled the room. Sleeping whispers crawled from the doors. She sniffled a little. The conversation had gone in the wrong direction.
They were bringing out their emotions. No lies, never lie to a friend, no excuses, nothing they could say yes or no too, all opinions no facts. They had said I love you for the thousandth time. But she, she has a boy in her life, dating for a while now. She loves him with all her heart.
She started down the steps.
But something about this other boy. He made her heart race, her cheeks flush red, and made her feel good inside. He was sweet, a charmer, she wished she could see him every day, every moment.
As the time ticked on she ticked forward. The wind pushed her back onto ice, and bring the cluts she was she slipped. She fell into the snow, and laid her head back. She opened her eyes and looked up. She wanted answers to her questions. But, she knew she wouldn't ever get them unless she answered them herself. She sighed and watched her breath disappear. The snow descended its way to her face and landed on her eyelashes. She slowly and carefully shut her eyes and as a shiver passed through her she stood up and curled her fists. She kept seeing the last words she sent. She couldn't let him think that. She felt a tear trickle down her cheek.
The pain she felt was unbearable. How could she have said that? She didn't mean it, she didn't want the thought to linger anymore. She had to see him. She couldn't let those words hang around in her head. She closed her eyes once more before sprinting off uncontrollably and the words flashed through her mind again.
I hate you.

He stopped. He had started to run. His breath was now in short and quick breaths. The cold grabbing at his skin, the clear yet white breaths hovering one by one out of his mouth, and the screeching pain of the wind in his lungs were agonizing. He slowed his breath. He walked, right foot left foot, right foot… He coughed a little and looked up at the falling snow. Does she really hate him? He stopped. Can he fix things by seeing her? He put his hands back in his pockets. He was busy looking at the ground and didn't notice another person walking, they bumped shoulders.
He mumbled a quiet and shy sorry. And in return he was tackled to the ground. He laid flat on his back, a slight pain in his elbow but he felt warm, despite the snow beneath him. He slowly opened his eyes.
Brown eyes before him, light brown hair fell from its place behind the ears of a young girl. Her fured hood over her head and her nose a little red from the cold. She was breathing hard… was she running? Had she been? He could never forget the eyes of someone he loved. He slightly smiled.

With her hands on his chest curled slightly and her smile close to his she couldn't help but to feel at home. She new, she could feel he had forgiven her, maybe shortly after she had even sent the stupid three words. She felt his heart against hers. The wind blew her hair from behind her ears and she watched quietly as he opened her eyes. She watched the shy smile crawl across his charming features and his dark brown eyes light up.  She couldn't help but giggle quietly and put her head close to his and brush her nose against his.

They lay in the snow not saying one word, but they knew…

He didn't have to even say one word to make her smile and give a light, comforting kiss to his forehead,

And ,

She didn't have to even say one word to make him give a light, comforting giggle and a warm, arms around the waist, hug.
